PURPOSE: A colored radiation-sensitive composition, a colored cured film, a color filter, a method for manufacturing the color filter, a solid-state image taking device, a liquid crystal display, and a method for manufacturing a dye are provided to suppress the generation of residues in the process of forming a colored cured film.;CONSTITUTION: A colored radiation-sensitive composition includes a dye, a polymerizable compound, and a solvent. The halogen ion content of the dye is in a range between 10 and 1000 ppm. A method for manufacturing the dye includes the following: a dye is dissolved in a good solvent; and the dissolved solution is arranged in a poor solvent to re-immerse the dye. A method for manufacturing a color filter includes the following: a colored radiation-sensitive composition layer is formed by applying a colored radiation-sensitive composition on a support; and the colored radiation-sensitive composition layer is exposed and developed to form a colored cured film.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
