PURPOSE: A brushless DC motor including a rotor position detecting device is provided to improve the accuracy of detecting the position of a rotor by attaching a sensor adjacent to a magnet in a motor.;CONSTITUTION: A rotor position detecting device(40) is arranged in a housing(50) surrounding a rotor(10) and a permanent magnet(60). A sensor(45) of the rotor position detecting device is arranged between shafting(30) and the permanent magnet. A stator(20) has a plurality of teeth shaped coils arranged on a circumference. The permanent magnet is formed on the surface opposite to the coil. The permanent magnet is inserted into a specific area of the rotor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
