PURPOSE: An expansion joint system for an agricultural channel and a construction method thereof are provided to improve adhesion to a haunch portion of an agricultural channel by forming the vertical portion of the system in a corrugated shape.;CONSTITUTION: An expansion joint system for an agricultural channel comprises an expansion joint(100) and a sliding anchor(200). The expansion joint is arranged in a horizontal direction and is composed of a horizontal portion(110), vertical portions(120), hanger portions, and wing portions(140). The horizontal portion has corrugations. The vertical portions have corrugations(126) and coupling protrusions(122). The hanger portions are bent from the bottom ends of the vertical portions and are extended outward. The wing portions have protrusions(144). The sliding anchor is composed of plate bodies(210), insertion portions(220), and seating portions(230). The insertion portions are coupled to the coupling protrusions of the vertical portions.
