PURPOSE: A slab quality evaluation method using molten metal level is provided to collect molten metal level data measured by a molten metal level sensor and predict the quality of slab from the molten metal level data.;CONSTITUTION: A slab quality evaluation method using molten metal level comprises the steps of: measuring the variation of molten metal level in a mold using a molten metal level sensor(S10), classifying the frequencies of level signals from the molten metal level sensor and calculating the area of a selected frequency(S20), calculating the number of time of exceeding a predetermined range around a reference level(S30), and calculating the defect index of inclusion drop-out in an immersed nozzle from the calculated number of exceeding time and displaying the defect index of inclusion drop-out(S40).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) End; (S10) Step of measuring the level of molten metal in a mold using a molten metal level sensor; (S20) Step of classifying measured frequencies of molten metal level and calculating the area of a classified frequency; (S30) Step of calculating the number of time of exceeding a predetermined range around a reference level from the calculated area levels; (S40) Step of calculating and displaying a defect index of inclusion formed in a nozzle
