PURPOSE: A control device and a method for a vehicle power window are provided to roll up and roll down a vehicle window by checking the load state of a vehicle power supply unit and prevent safety accidents caused by the moving of a vehicle window in advance.;CONSTITUTION: A control device for a vehicle power window comprises a battery type power supply unit(25), a control unit(24), a vehicle speed sensing unit(26), a regulator sensing unit(27), a door opening sensing unit(28), and a multi-switch(20). The control unit does not operate vehicle window glasses at the same time when the load of a discharged battery is short of a predetermined reference value and outputs a control signal for rolling down a vehicle window glass when the pulse value of a hall sensor, and the torque and the current of a regulator is short of a predetermined value. The vehicle speed sensing unit detects the driving state of a vehicle whether a vehicle in a parking state or not. The regulator controls a motor lifting a vehicle window glass.
