PURPOSE: A motor-driven compressor is provided to reduce the generation of noise by forming an intermediate member between inner and outer housings.;CONSTITUTION: A motor-driven compressor comprises a compression unit(4), a motor unit(5), a drive circuit(6), an inner housing(10), an outer housing(20), intermediate members(31,32), and protectors. The compression unit compresses refrigerants. The motor unit powers the compression unit. The drive circuit powers the motor unit and is connected to a power supply unit. The inner housing receives the compression unit, the motor unit, and the drive circuit therein. The outer housing receives the inner housing therein. The intermediate members are arranged between the inner and outer housings and between the drive circuit and the outer housing.
