PURPOSE: A compressor having a bypass pipe for preventing a surge phenomenon is provided to install a bypass pipe in between a diffuser of a compressor and a casing and to open a valve for controlling a compressed air flow of the bypass pipe when a surge phenomenon occurs, thereby delaying the surge phenomenon generated in the inside of the diffuser.;CONSTITUTION: A compressor having a bypass pipe for preventing a surge phenomenon comprises an impeller(11), a diffuser(13), a casing(12), a shroud casing, a bypass pipe(1), and a valve(2). The impeller is connected to a motor or a rotary shaft of a turbine, thereby rotating. The diffuser stably supplies a flow of air compressed by the high speed rotation of the impeller to the inside of the casing. The casing discharges the supplied compressed air. The shroud casing is installed in between the impeller and casing. The bypass pipe diverts some of the compressed air passing through a space formed by the impeller, diffuse, and shroud casing, thereby supplying the same.
