THE METHOD OF PCI EXPRESS LINK TO EXTERNAL CIRCUIT BY USING DVI OR HDMI CABLE

PURPOSE: A PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect)-Express outer link method with a DVI cable or a HDMI cable is provided to easily and economically use a device including an outer PCI-Express interface by using the DVI cable or the HDMI cable inexpensive and having similar electric properties instead of a high priced PCI-Express cable. CONSTITUTION: A PCI-Express signal is transmitted by using a DVI cable or a HDMI cable generally used for an outer device using a PCI-Express interface. An adaptor board including a DVI connector or a HDMI connector is installed on an industrial motherboard to connect the PCI-Express signal with the outer device. Power obtained from the motherboard is supplied to the outer device through the DVI cable or the HDMI cable.
