PURPOSE: An electrolytic cell for a monolithic photovoltaic-electrolytic hydrogen production system is provided to reduce overvoltage during electrolysis by forming a channel in an anode or/and a cathode. CONSTITUTION: An electrolytic cell for a monolithic photovoltaic-electrolytic hydrogen production system comprises a cathode and an anode which is composed of a conductive substrate coated with a metal oxide catalyst layer. A channel is formed in the anode or/and cathode. The conductive substrate is selected from the group consisting of stainless steel, titanium, nickel, molybdenum, and glass.
