PURPOSE: An oxide dispersion strengthened alloy is provided to improve high-temperature strength and creep resistance by mechanically alloying metal elemental powder to restrict the movement of electric potential. CONSTITUTION: An oxide dispersion strengthened alloy comprises chrome of 9.0-15.0 weight%, niobium of 1.0-3.0 weight%, tungsten of 1.1weight%, yttria of 0.3-0.5 weight%, and iron of the remaining amount. The metal elemental powder is mechanically alloyed so that no or fine phase, M phase, Cr2Nb etc are formed when adding niobium and accordingly the movement of electric potential can be effectively restricted.
