PURPOSE: A heater for a steam generator applying a self temperature control type surface heater and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to regularly maintain heating temperature of the water in the inside of a heating chamber for set-up time, thereby stably and continuously generating steam and reducing energy consumption.;CONSTITUTION: A heater for a steam generator applying a self temperature control type surface heater comprises a base plate(10) and a SR heater(20). The SR heater is spread on a surface of the base plate. A paste is hardened so that the SR heater is formed. An electric resistance material component, an insulation binder component, and a temperature controlling material component are mixed so that the paste is formed. The SR heater generates heat by receiving power from an external power source. The SR heater performs a self temperature control function, thereby regularly maintaining temperature in a set area.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
