PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling volatile sulfur-based bad odor materials using a microbial fuel cell and a method for the same are provided to suppress the generation of sulfur-based compounds. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling volatile sulfur-based bad odor materials using a microbial fuel cell includes an anode(111), a cathode(112), a wire(120), a resistor(130), and a voltage meter(140). The anode is installed at anaerobic sediment. The cathode is installed at sewage and rainwater. The wire connects the anode and the cathode. The resistor and the voltage meter are installed at the middle of the wire and measure the amount of generated electricity.
