PURPOSE: An MMSE(Minimum Mean Squire Error) based signal detection method in a multiple-input multiple-output system and method thereof are provided to calculate MMSE based R-LLR(Reciprocal Log Likelihood Ratio).;CONSTITUTION: A channel estimation unit(100) estimates a channel based on a reception signal. An MMSE based R-LLR calculation unit(200) connects to the channel estimation unit. The MMSE based R-LLR calculation unit calculates R-LLR based on the received signal and the estimated channel. A channel decoder(300) connects to the MMSE based R-LLR.
