PURPOSE: A method for maintain particle concentration when testing a speed field using a particle image current meter in a towing tank is provided to enhance the accuracy of a measurement because particle concentration within a measurement region in spite of the repetitive movement of a towing carrier.;CONSTITUTION: A method for maintain particle concentration when testing a speed field using a particle image current meter in a towing tank is as follows. A towing carrier is on standby at a starting position until a residual flow caused by a previous test is attenuated(1). A test is performed while the towing carrier moves. Particles are sprayed and distributed within the measurement region while the towing carrier moves to the starting position for performing a next test(2).
