PURPOSE: A prestressed beam with a function for actively controlling deflection is provided to remarkably reduce the sizes of members by effectively controlling deflection.;CONSTITUTION: A prestressed beam with a function for actively controlling deflection comprises a steel beam(11), end anchor plates(12), multiple stiffeners(13), tendons(14), a center deflection device(15), and multiple horizontal defection devices(16). The steel beam is composed of upper and lower flanges(111,112) and a web(113). The web connects the upper and lower flanges to each other. The end anchor plates are coupled to both ends of the steel beam. The stiffeners are coupled to the inner side of the steel beam between the end anchor plate. The tendons are anchored between the end anchor plates and the stiffeners and between the stiffeners and apply prestress to the steel beam. The center deflection device is installed on the top center of the lower flange of the steel beam and deflects the tendons. The horizontal deflection devices are installed on the bottom surface of the upper flange of the steel beam and horizontally arrange the ends of the tendons.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
