LNG Vaporization Process System Using Heat Pump

PURPOSE: An LNG vaporization process system using a heat pump is provided to increase evaporation efficiency of LNG, save energy, and reduce greenhouse gas. CONSTITUTION: An LNG vaporization process system using a heat pump comprises an ORV(Open Rack Vaporizer)(10) and a heat pump(40). The ORV is used for the evaporation of LNG. The heat pump is installed between the seawater supply pipe and the ORV. The heat pump comprises a condenser(41), an expansion valve, and an evaporator(42). The condenser exchanges the heat between the seawater and the compressed refrigerant vapor and increases the temperature of the seawater. The expansion valve reduces the pressure and temperature of the frozen refrigerant passing through the condenser. The evaporator exchanges heat between the refrigerant of low temperature and low pressure and the seawater.
