Maintenance Method and Apparaus for Liner Plates of Spent Fuel Pit in Nuclear Power Plant

PURPOSE: A method and device for repairing a spent fuel pool are provided to repair the spent fuel pool in the same environment as the welding process in a general dry state by applying a repair dam for a defective part. CONSTITUTION: A repair dam(3) is closely adhered to the inner wall of a storage(1) by water pressure. Water dose not permeate through the repair dam by maintaining airtightness. A defective part is dried and is repaired in the repair dam. After the repair is completed, water is filled in the repair dam by using a pump. The repair dam is separated, transferred, and removed when the airtight water pressure is released.
