PURPOSE: A wood-plastic composite using wood fiber and natural fiber as a reinforcing material and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the durability by preventing the wood fiber from being rotted due to moisture. CONSTITUTION: The hydrophobicity and the water-repellency are applied to the surface of wood fiber through a surface processing step. 50 to 250 parts by weight of the surface processed wood fiber is mixed with respect to 100 parts by weight of a poly olefin-based resin in order to prepare a composition for a wood-plastic composite. The composition is compressed in a compressor and is shaped into a composite in a die.
