PCR primer and probe for detection of Mycoplasma pneumoniae using P1 gene and real-time PCR method using the same

PURPOSE: A PCR primer set for detecting mycoplasma pneumoniae using P1 gene is provided to quickly detect the bacteria with high specificity and sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A PCR primer set for detecting mycroplasma pneumoniae using P1 gene contains oligonucleotides of sequence numbers 3 and 4. A probe for detecting the oligonucleotide is specific to mycroplasma pneumoniae-derived nucleic acid. A method for real time PCR for detecting mycroplasma pneumoniae comprises: a step of performing PCR using the primer set with the nucleic acid isolated from the respiratory test sample as a template; and a step of detecting a target sequence in the test sample.
