PURPOSE: A drainage apparatus comprising a catch basin and a grating for a bridge deck and a bridge drainage construction method using the same are provided to improve the exterior appearance of a bridge and smoothly drain sewage from the catch basin. CONSTITUTION: A drainage apparatus for a bridge deck comprises a catch basin(10), a connection part(20), and a grating. The catch basin is installed in the deck of a bridge(300) in order to drain sewage from the deck. The connection part is arranged on the edge of the deck in the width direction in order to connect catch basins located on the deck. The connection part has a flow passage for guiding sewage to flow toward the catch basins. The grating covers one opened side of the connection part.
