PURPOSE: A protection device for a groundwater observation well is provided to efficiently measure the level of groundwater by preventing contaminants from flowing into an observation well. CONSTITUTION: A protection device for a groundwater observation well comprises an observation well cap(110), first fastening members(120) for sampling, and second fastening members(130) for measuring a water level. The observation well cap is formed in a cup shape. First and second fastening holes are formed in the observation well cap to be parallel to the center shaft of the observation well cap. The first fastening members are coupled to the first fastening holes of the observation well cap. The second fastening members are coupled to the second fastening holes of the observation well cap.
