A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING URBAN SPATIAL INFORMATION USING A DRAFT MAP AND AN AERIAL LASER MEASUREMENT DATA

PURPOSE: An urban spatial information structuring system with an original drawing and LiDAR(Light Detection And Ranging) data and a method thereof are provided to acquire spatial information by filtering the LiDAR data, thereby constructing a precise 3D spatial information system. CONSTITUTION: A LiDAR data receiving unit receives LiDAR data by a web server. An error eliminating unit(311) sets a searching area of the LiDAR data, and eliminates error data within the searching area. A filtering unit(312) filters the LiDAR data of which the error data is eliminated, and the filtered LiDAR data is divided into road data and a first building data. A data extracting unit(313) extracts the road data and the first building data. An original drawing data extracting unit extracts an original drawing data with a 3D coordinate of a building from a data base unit. A data converting unit transforms the coordinate of the original drawing.
