Method for predicting water demand using Group Method of Data Handling algorithm

PURPOSE: A method for predicting a water demand using a GMDH(Group Method of Data Handling) algorithm is provided to calculate optimum prediction demand amount through the GMDH algorithm, thereby accomplishing precision goal of output prediction. CONSTITUTION: A water operating system drives an intelligent model of water demand prediction. Demand prediction software is connected through a LAN network such as host computer of the water system and database and other related systems. The demand prediction software established a demand prediction GDMH model through a back-propagation learning algorithm according to an operation data of the water operating system and a data of forecast DB. A predicted demand is determined to current demand and forecast state through model-based prediction control algorithm from the intelligent model.
