PURPOSE: A compression algorithm for an optimized communication environment, an encryption algorithm selection system, a selection method thereof, and a computer readable recording medium in which a command is recorded in order to identically perform each step in a computer are provided to intuitively select an optimized compression algorithm and encryption algorithm, thereby performing effective communications. CONSTITUTION: A communication speed measuring part(100) measures the communication speed of a network. An operation speed measuring part(200) measures the first operation speed of a transmission device and the second operation speed of a receiving device. A first operation part(300) outputs a first difference value of the first operation speed with the communication speed and a second difference value of the second operation speed with the communication speed. A second operation part(400) outputs each index value which is established using the first difference value and second difference value as variables. An algorithm combination selection part(500) selects a combination of a compression algorithm and encryption algorithm with a minimum value.
