PURPOSE: A superhydrophobic coating composition is provided to form a superhydrophobic coating film with nano-sized surface roughness and superhydrophobic surface thereof and to be used as self-cleaning coating or anti-fouling coating. CONSTITUTION: A superhydrophobic coating composition comprises graphene oxide and hydrophobic polymer. The graphene oxide is synthesized by the chemical oxidation of graphite. The content of graphene oxide is 3-30 weight% based on the weight of the whole composition. The hydrophobic polymer is an organic compound or polymer which has low surface energy.
