PURPOSE: A method of decomposing non-metallic inclusion using an electric-chemical refining technique is provided to enhance the quality of a metallic product and process stability since non-metallic inclusion is decomposed or changed by easily controllable electric energy. CONSTITUTION: A method of decomposing non-metallic inclusion using an electric-chemical refining technique comprises next steps. A fire-proof member, in which a crucible is formed to hold a molten metal, is formed from a solid electrolyte material, which has selective transparency to oxygen. A part of the fire-proof member making contact with the molten metal is formed as cathode. External direct current polarized to anode is applied to the outside of the fire-proof member and thus a non-metallic material is decomposed, which is attached to the inner sidewall of the fire-proof member.
