PURPOSE: A four-dimensional airship simulation system which utilizes geographic information and a method thereof are provided to simulate a realistic airship experience in a limited space. CONSTITUTION: A four-dimensional airship simulation system(300) comprises a flight control part(310), a simulation server(320), an image display part(330), and a motion chair(340). The flight control part generates an airship location control signal according to airship control by a user. The simulation server reads the position and location of an airship according to the airship location control signal. The simulation server generates a three-dimensional image which is changed according to the position and the location of the airship using three-dimensional artificial material information and three-dimensional geographic information. The image display part receives the three-dimensional image from the simulation server and outputs the image on a monitor. The motion chair comprises a motion base which is comprised of a plurality of driving shafts. The motion chair receives displacement information with respect to the position and the location of the airship from the simulation server. The motion chair operates the motion base.
