PURPOSE: A continuous construction method for composite bridge using prestressed I-type girder is provided to reduce the construction cost and maintenance expense by inducing the pressing force to the whole structure. CONSTITUTION: A continuous construction method for composite bridge using prestressed I-type girder comprises followings. A first tendon of the girder has a post-tensioning(S1). A side span girder is installed between an abutment and the bridge post. A middle span girder is installed between the bridge posts(S2). The side span girder and the middle span girder are structurally and mutually connected(S3). A permanent supporting board is installed. A second tendon is mounted at each span by prestressing(S5).
