PURPOSE: A vermiculite board manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance water resistance and strength by uniformly mixing the final mixture of vermiculite, silica sand, and a binder.;CONSTITUTION: A vermiculite board manufacturing apparatus comprises a first mixer(10), a second mixer(30), a first transfer screw(20), and a reservoir tank(60). The vermiculite and silica sand is mixed in the first mixer. The second mixer comprises a hopper(31), a transfer pipe(33a), and a screw axis(33b), and a mixing tube(32). The mixing tube comprises a binder inlet tube(32a) and a high pressure air inlet (32b). The mixture of vermiculite and silica sand mixed in the first mixer is put into the hopper. The first transfer screw supplies the mixture of vermiculite and silica sand between the first and the second mixers. The reservoir tank temporarily stores the final mixture of vermiculite, silica sand, and a binder which is released from the second mixer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
