Molecular marker for cultivar discrimination in strawberry and use thereof

PURPOSE: A molecular marker for distinguishing strawberry is provided to distinguish product kind by presence of a specific band of each strawberry product kind and to prevent mixing between different product kind. CONSTITUTION: A molecular marker for distinguishing strawberry product kind comprises a primer set having oligonucleotide of serial sequences selected from sequence numbers 1 to 42. A method for distinguishing product kind comprises: a step of extracting genome DNA from strawberry; a step of amplifying DNA using primer; a step of analyzing amplified product by electrophoresis; and a step of determining product kind. A kit for distinguishing strawberry kind contains the molecular marker, DNA polymerase, and PCR reaction buffer.
