MULCHING MAT FOR TREES TRANSPLANTED ON BROWN FIELD

PURPOSE: A mulching mat for promoting the growth of trees planted in barren land is provided to prevent the growth of weeds around the trees, and to reduce the temperature change range of soil surrounding the trees. CONSTITUTION: A mulching mat for promoting the growth of trees planted in barren land comprises the following: an upper coir felt layer(10) and a lower coir felt layer(20) combined to each other to form the mat; and a molding(30) inserted in between the coir felt layers. The molding contains fertilizer, lignosulphonate, a metal salt or ammonium salt thereof, and cellulosic fibers. The molding is formulated into pellets or tablets. The coir felt layers are 5-30 mm thick, and have a density of 10-40kg per cubic meter.
