PURPOSE: Carbon dioxide eliminating apparatus and method for continuously circulating aqueous solutions in a duct reactor are provided to prevent the clogging phenomenon of a pipe due to precipitates. CONSTITUTION: A carbon dioxide eliminating apparatus(100) includes a blower(120), an absorbing column(130), a duct reactor(140), a gas supplying pipe part(150), an absorbent liquid circulating pipe part(160), an absorbent liquid supplying pipe part(170), an absorbent liquid discharging part(180), and a new absorbent liquid supplying part(190). The blower is installed on a gas discharging line(101) which discharges discharging gas through a chimney(105). Absorbent liquid mixed with Ca(OH)_2 and an additive is stored in the absorbing column. The discharging gas is supplied into the absorbent liquid. Purified gas is discharged through the upper part of the absorbing column. The duct reactor is vertically installed to be in connection with the gas discharging line. The gas supplying pipe part penetrates the middle part of the duct reactor and the lower part of the absorbing column and supplies the discharging gas from the duct reactor to the lower part of the absorbing column. The absorbent liquid circulating pipe part re-contacts the absorbent liquid in the duct reactor with the discharging gas and cools the discharging gas. The absorbent liquid supplying pipe part supplies the absorbent liquid from the absorbing column into the duct reactor. The absorbent liquid discharging part discharges the absorbent liquid from the duct reactor.
