PURPOSE: A pier base construction method is provided to securely support the pier by reinforcing on a slope site in which the pier is installed. CONSTITUTION: A pier base construction method comprises following steps. The installation position of a pier to be installed on a slope among the installation plans of a bridge or an overpass is established(S10). The installation position of the pier is dug out and a wall is formed as deeply as the pier is dug out(S20). A pier is installed on the installation position in which the wall is installed(S30). Finishing material is filled with the inside of the wall(S40).
