PURPOSE: An artificial nail for free edge protection and a nail art method using the same are provided to prevent an artificial nail from being damaged while maintaining the intensity of nails. CONSTITUTION: An artificial nail for free edge protection comprises: a nail main body(110) which includes a bonding surface combined with a nail and in which one end thereof is combined with the free edge of a nail and the other end thereof is formed of a circle; and a guide(120) which is combined with one end of the nail main body. In the guide, a lower surface is equipped. In the lower end of the guide, a jaw is formed.
