PURPOSE: A temperature control device of a shift reactor is provided to enable the operation at an optimal operation temperature and to reduce the size of a fuel cell system by removing a heat exchanger used inside a conventional shift reactor. CONSTITUTION: A temperature control device of a shift reactor comprises: a thermoelectric element(120) covering the outer circumference of a shift reactor(110); and a control unit(160) which compares an operation temperature(TS) sensed from the shift reactor with at least one reference temperature(Ref1,Ref2) and supplies the current of the different direction to the thermoelectric element. In the thermoelectric element, one side contacting the outer circumference of the shift reactor performs the operation of heat generation or absorption according to the direction of the current provided from the controller.
