PURPOSE: A fatigue calculation method of a stereo image based on a horizontal shift is provided to encode the stereo image into the stereo image of low fatigue by estimating fatigue in an encoding progress. CONSTITUTION: A fatigue estimation apparatus extracts feature points of a stereo image(410). The fatigue estimation apparatus estimates the horizontal shift and vertical shift of the feature point(420). The fatigue estimation apparatus creates one or more values which display vertical shift features and one or more values which display horizontal shift feature(430). The fatigue estimation apparatus estimates the fatigue of the stereo image(440).
