METHOD FOR BRAZING WELDING A FIXING PLATE AND A FLOW CAP IN HEAT EXCHANGER AND THE HEAT EXCHANGER USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method of brazing-welding the fixing plate and the path cap of a heat exchanger and a corresponding heat exchanger are provided to remove the need for a process of spot-welding the fixing plate and the path cap of a heat exchanger before brazing-welding them.;CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger comprises a plurality of heat exchange pipes, a fixing plate(10), and a path cap(20). Both ends of each of the heat exchange pipes are inserted into the fixing plate. The path cap is brazing-welded to the fixing plate and closes the both ends of the heat exchange pipe to form parallel flow paths. A plurality of elastic protrusions(11) for the snap connecting is formed on the fixing plate, one end of the path cap is formed in a "L" shape and makes tight contact with the fixing plate by the snap connecting to the elastic protrusion, the other end of the path cap comprises a stepped portion(21), the other end part of the flow path cap comprises the stepped portion, the end(21b) of the stepped portion makes contact with the elastic protrusion and the base(21a) of the stepped portion makes tight contact with the fixing plate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
