PURPOSE: A spectrum detection technique performance analysis method for a wireless recognition system is provided to select a spectrum detection technique optimized for each situation by considering complexity of a system and a signal-to-noise ratio using a simulation result. CONSTITUTION: A transmission signal is created(S10). The transmission signal is transmitted in an additional white Gaussian noise environment(S20). A received signal is generated from the transmission signal after passing the additional white Gaussian noise environment(S30). A timing offset value between the transmission signal and the received signal and a target value of a false alarm probability are established(S40). Spectrum detection probabilities by a matching filter detection technique, an energy detection technique, and a cyclo stationary detection technique are calculated based on the timing offset value and the target value of the false alarm probability(S50). The spectrum detection probabilities are compared according to a signal-to-noise ratio(S60).
