PURPOSE: A water floating type device for tracking and concentrating sunlight is provided to maximize sunlight concentrating efficiency by tracking the direction of sunlight and rotating a solar module plate. CONSTITUTION: A water floating type device for tracking and concentrating sunlight comprises floating objects(118), an upper structure(102), a solar module plate(101), a rotating plate(105), a roller guide(108), a rotation roller(111), a motor, a rack-and-pinion, a driven pipe(109), and a roller link(110). The upper structure is formed on the top of the floating objects in a reverse-triangular shape. The solar module plate is formed on the top of the rotating plate. The roller guide is formed in a space formed at the center of the upper structure. The rotation roller is moved along the roller guide. The motor is installed in the floating objects. The rack-and-pinion converts the rotational motion of the motor into a linear motion. The driven pipe is coupled to the rack-and-pinion. The roller link is coupled to the driven pipe and the rotation roller.
