PURPOSE: An installation structure and an installation method of an optical fiber sensor for measuring the tension of a tension member are provided to rapidly and simply install a jig on a tension member in a construction site. CONSTITUTION: An installation method of an optical fiber sensor for measuring the tension of a tension member is as follows. A jig(1), composed of upper and lower coupling members(11,12), is coupled to the bottom of a jig joint of an optical fiber sensor unit, and an optical fiber sensor is installed on a tendon. The upper coupling member is coupled to a temporary jig fixing plate having a through hole, and the lower coupling member is coupled to the temporary jig fixing plate. The jig is installed on the tendon by allowing coupling protrusions(14) of the upper and lower coupling members to press the outer surface of the tendon. The temporary jig fixing plate is removed. The optical fiber sensor is coupled to the jig by coupling the jig joint to the upper coupling member and is installed on the tendon.
