PURPOSE: A biosensor for detecting peroxynitrite and a method for detecting peroxynitrite using the same are provided to ensure high sensitivity and selectivity.;CONSTITUTION: A biosensor for detecting peroxynitrite is modified using manganese-[poly-2,5-di-(2-thienyl)-1H-pyrrole-1-(p-benzoic acid)](Mn-pDPB) as a conductive polymer. The biosensor contains an electrode; a conductive polymer layer having (Mn-pDPB) formed on the electrode; and a gold nanoparticle layer formed on the conductive polymer layer.
