SEISMIC CONTROL BRACE APPARATUS AND BRACING METHOD

PURPOSE: A seismic control brace apparatus and a bracing method using the same are provided to effectively disperse vibration applied to a structure using natural or artificial energy. CONSTITUTION: A seismic control brace apparatus comprises first and second cylinders(100,160), first and second elastic concrete(110,180), first and second inner plates(120,190), first and second spring support cores(130,200), an end plate(150), a partition plate(210), and first, second, and third elastic springs(140,220,230). One sides of the first and second cylinders have clevis parts(101,161), and the other sides are opened. The first and second elastic concrete is put into the first and second cylinders to close to the clevis parts. The first and second inner plates are fixed to the first and second cylinders. The first and second spring support cores are installed in the inner centers of the first and second cylinders. The end plate is fixed to the opening(102) of the first cylinder. The first elastic spring is inserted into the first spring support core. The second elastic spring is inserted between the end plate and the partition plate. The third elastic spring is inserted between the end plate and the second inner plate.
