ROUND BAR MATERIAL STAND FOR A LATHE CAPABLE OF REDUCING MANPOWER REQUIRED IN SETTING AND MACHINING IN SPITE OF HEAVY AND LONG ROUND BARS

PURPOSE: A round bar material stand for a lathe is provided to stably implement a machining work by covering various motions of a round bar material because the stand can adaptively implement in vertical, horizontal, and straight forward motions.;CONSTITUTION: A round bar material stand for a lathe(10) comprises a pair of rolling balls(100,102), a pair of rolling ball containers(110,112), a pair of distance regulating units(200,202), prop plates(300), at least one actuator(400), an actuator fixing unit(500), and a prop frame(600). The pair of rolling balls supports a round bar material and is correspondently rotated to the movement of the round bar material. A part of each rolling ball is embedded in the rolling ball container on multiple bearings(120,122). The pair of rolling ball containers is located at predetermined inclination to a normal line of a horizontal plane. The distance regulating units oppositely move to each other to control the horizontal distance between the rolling balls. The prop plates support the distance regulating units. The actuator vertically moves the pair of rolling balls to control the vertical height of the pair of rolling balls on the basis of a reciprocating motion of a cylinder. The actuator fixing unit is connected to a body of the actuator and fixes the body of the actuator. The prop frame disperses and delivers the load to the ground.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
