NODES GROUPING METHOD FOR MITIGATING HIDDEN NODE COLLISIONS IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK

PURPOSE: A node grouping method for solving a hiding node problem is provided to reduce the power consumption of a sensor node by grouping responded messages received from each node. CONSTITUTION: A coordinator determines a node grouping starting point(S100). After the coordinator transmits a grouping message to adjacent nodes, the coordinator receives a response message from each node(S200). The coordinator groups the adjacent nodes based on the received responded messages(S300). Each node displays the receivable nodes on a payload. The coordinator confirms the receivable node list from the responded messages.
