PURPOSE: A method for preparing a multiscale composite is provided to prepare a silanized carbon nanotube/basalt/epoxy multi-scale composite material with excellent mechanical properties and temperature characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a silanized carbon nanotube/basalt/epoxy multi-scale composite comprises the steps of: (i) manufacturing oxidized carbon nanotubes by oxidizing carbon nanotube; (ii) manufacturing silanized carbon nanotube by silanizing the oxidized carbon nanotube with a silanizing derivative; (iii) manufacturing a mixture by mixing an epoxy resin, a hardener, and the silanized carbon nanotube; and (iv) impregnating the mixture in impregnated fiber and curing the impregnated fiber.
