PURPOSE: A composition containing Chryseobacterium indologenes ISE14 is provided to prevent plant anthracnose in an eco-friendly method and to reduce use of insecticide. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing plant anthracnose contains Chryseobacterium indologenes ISE14(deposit number KACC 91370P) or metabolites thereof. A method for preventing plant anthracnose comprises a step of treating the composition to the plant. The plant is selected from Capsium annuum, paprika, strawberry, tomato, watermelon, cucumber, and apple.
