PURPOSE: A hydraulic system having a work mode setting function is provided to enable a driver to directly select a work fluid joining cancelation time point according to the work condition. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic system having a work mode setting function comprises an engine, first and second hydraulic pumps, a pilot pump, an arm cylinder(5), a boom cylinder(2), a first boom spool(1), a second boom spool(3), a first arm spool(4), a second arm spool(6), an input monitor(11), an operation lever, a solenoid valve(9) and a controller(10). The first and second hydraulic pumps and pilot pump are connected to the engine. The arm cylinder is connected to a discharging flow path of a first fluid pressure pump. The cylinder is connected to the discharging flow path of a second hydraulic pump. The first boom spool is installed in the flow path between the cylinder and the second hydraulic pump. It the second, spool is installed in the flow path between the cylinder and the first fluid pressure pump. The first arm spool is installed in the flow path between the arm cylinder and the first fluid pressure pump. The second arm spool is installed in the flow path between the arm cylinder and the second hydraulic pump. The controller compares and calculates a pilot pressure value and the data of work fluid joining cancelation time point which is input through an input monitor.
