PURPOSE: A construction method of a wave dissipation structure is provided to improve the construction precision and structural stability of caissons by setting cell blocks before placing the caissons. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a wave dissipation structure is as follows. A foundation layer(1) is formed on the underwater bottom. A plurality of cell blocks(120) are set on the foundation layer in order to define the boundary of an installation area(A) for caissons. a plurality of caissons(110) are installed within the installation area defined by the cell blocks.
