PURPOSE: A stair transport chair for emergency rescue and evacuation is provided to be stopped by a brake device with a simple structure and a small volume. CONSTITUTION: A stair transport chair for emergency rescue and evacuation comprises a main frame(100), a seat assembly(200), and a track assembly(300). The main frame provides a foundation for other parts and comprises upper and lower horizontal support members which combines vertical support members. The seat assembly is installed to be combined with the main frame and comprises a seat frame, a seat frame support member, and a pair of armrests. The track assembly is combined with the main frame.
