PURPOSE: An amine-impregnated silica monolith with a hierarchical pore structure, a manufacturing method thereof, and a dry carbon dioxide sorbent using the same are provided to have superior carbon dioxide absorbing power under low carbon dioxide concentration. CONSTITUTION: A polymer material with amine is carried in a porous silica monolith with a hierarchical structure of a micro pole and a meso pore to produce an amine-impregnated silica monolith with a hierarchical pore structure. A method for manufacturing the silica monolith comprises the following steps. A porous silica monolith with a hierarchical structure is manufactured. A polymer material with amine is carried in a porous silica monolith with the manufacture layer structure.
